What it Means to Vote Whig in 2026
It's high time that we start making our government work for all of us. While the new Whig party makes its way onto ballots, voters can still "Vote Whig" by voting according to Whig principles. Those principles can be summarized into a word: anti-corruption.
Neither the Republican nor the Democratic party (henceforth, "Tories") will make government work for anyone but themselves and their donors.
While that century-old, corrupt duopoly comes to an end, many voters this November will find themselves stuck with a choice between two Tory candidates. When there is no Whig candidate, the "Whig vote" is for whichever candidate most represents Whig principles. That means voting for the candidate most likely to:
- put their voters over donors
- vote against forever wars
- protect our drinking water
- stop mass surveillance
- put Epstein's network in prison
